Here is what you need to do and the order to do it in :
1.) Select your business structure. Florida law requires construction industry businesses obtain Workers Compensation. 2.) File your Workers Compensation Exemption. Once your Corporation or LLC is established you will need to file your exemption with the State of Florida. 3.) Obtain a local Business Tax License. Check with your local County licensing department to see if you required to obtain a license.
